The Nerds of Nerd Mentality

Nerd Mentality is a non-profit game lounge coming to LaGrande, Oregon, in late 2025 or early 2026. It will be a space where nerds can come together to enjoy what they love as a community.  Not only will we have a facility with everything any nerd could desire for their hobbies, we will also be hosting events all year long across all fandoms and interests. In an age of digital connection, we are trying to bring back face-to-face connection. 

Inspiring and empowering the next generation of nerds while cultivating a vibrant and welcoming community. 

Nerds are passionate people and true joy is in the sharing of what you love with like-minded people. We at Nerd Mentality saw a need in our community for a space where these people can find others like them and reconnect over shared hobbies. While Nerd Mentality will be a place for everyone, our passion is creating a safe place where our youth can meet and find other kids who like the same things they do and make connections that can last a lifetime. 

David, Cody, and Mike are three friends who share a love of games, comics, and all things nerdy. Finding a need in their community for a place to get together and share their hobbies, the idea of Nerd Mentality was born.

Our goal is to provide something for every nerd. Here are some things we plan on providing. 

A TTRPG library with premium game accessories.

A comic book library featuring milestone graphic novels and manga.

Over 1000 board games.

Everything needed for war gaming.

Open tables for drop in games.

Learn to play trading card decks.

Video game stations with both the latest consoles and retro classic.

A digital community to connect and plan for in person meet ups.

And so much more.
